CAMEO Adjustable Grass Reins

British Safety Engineering & Novice Rider Confidence: The CAMEO Adjustable Grass Reins

Keep young and novice equestrians safe, balanced, and in control with the CAMEO Adjustable Grass Reins. Proudly Made in the United Kingdom to exacting equestrian safety standards, this essential training aid is specifically designed to stop cheeky ponies from snatching their heads down to graze—preventing beginner riders from being unseated or pulled over the pommel.

Constructed from soft-touch, high-tensile woven nylon webbing, the reins attach securely between the saddle D-rings and the bridle headpiece or bit rings. When properly adjusted, they allow complete freedom for normal head carriage, lateral flexion, and steering aids, but act as a firm, gentle barrier the moment a pony attempts to drop its neck to eat grass. Lightweight, weather-resistant, and fitted with robust anti-rust hardware, they are an indispensable safety tool for riding schools, Pony Club rallies, lead-rein riders, and summer hacking.
